Must Have Stocking Stuffers
Posted on 17 December 2017
I love sharing my favorite products with friends, especially during the holidays. Below is a list of sure-fire gifts to please everyone on your list...AND each is a chance to support small business.
1/ What to get for a cool co-worker or your child's favorite teacher: NESW WAX CO Candle in San Luis Obispo - $12.00
Started in 2015 by Haley & Eric Sanchez, NESW WAX CO candles represent aromas from distinct regions in California. Our favorites include Los Angeles, Yosemite and San Luis Obispo (pictured here).
2/ What to get for your little niece: Neni & Co Handmade Girl's Bow - $12.99
Owner Shanna offers a range of high-quality handmade hair bows and crocheted accessories that work for cool kids with hip mammas. Be sure to check out her Limited Edition Liberty London Prints
3/ What to get for your parent friends who need some music they can love with their kids: "I'M NOT TIRED" Album, available on CD, MP3 or I-Tunes - $9.99
Your kid's favorites reimagined through an adult lense. Imagine "Green Eggs and Ham" played by Prince (my daughter's personal favorite, BTW), or Bono rocking you out with the ABC's. Simply put this is an album of Kid's music made for adults with great taste.
5/ What to get for your super hip sister-in-law: Ani Michele Organic Nail Polish in People's Choice - $14.00
Founder Ani Sousamian created her line of 5 Free of Chemicals, Cruelty Free polishes as an opportunity to inspire, empower and compliment each women's beauty and personal style. She offers a wide range of beautiful shades, including a new gel-polish base and top coat (free shipping if you order 3 bottles). We love People's Choice, which is a sparkly Rose Gold shade. All made in the USA.
6/ What to get for a unique hostess gift: Luna Reece Hand-Made, Ceramic Ring Dish - $14.99
Andrea Luna Reece is a badass mom of two and a fine artist who makes the most amazing ceramics. Shop her wide range of succulent planters, mugs, dishes and more. I discovered her at the bi-annual Patchwork Show in Santa Ana and have been a fan girl ever since.
7/ What to get for your workaholic friend who needs a little zen on-the-go: CAMPO Beauty Roll-On Oil in Relax - $45.00
I can relate to the above description a little too well, so I was blown away when a friend introduced me to these amazingly simple (but effective) line of essential oil rollers. In addition to Relax, they also have a sensual blend called Energy (my husband loves it) and a grounding blend called Focus. Feel good about your purchase, because with every product sold, CAMPO donates a meal to a child or family in need through Feeding America.
8/ What to get for a new/expecting dad: Daddy Drinks Paperback - $10.87
(Available on Amazon Prime)
"Daddy Drinks" a hilariously inappropriate look at parenting through the eyes of six tremendously funny Actor Dads (one of them happens to be my husband, Mike Lanahan.) This is a great book for new dads - we laugh so we don't cry, and when in doubt...bourbon.
